Hey everybody, mark these dates on your calendars! This year we’ll be having TWO opportunities for you to put in your 3 hour minimum of community work. Join your neighbors, get the pool and playground ready, and make some new friends! Oh – yes, and earn a $50 refund of your homeowner’s dues.
More info to come, but the dates are Saturdays – May 7 and May 14.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, April 25th at Vicki Bengeult’s house. All are invited!

We are in the process of updating the Mar Cheri directory. If you’d like your email address added, or if your information has changed, please email updates to info@marcheri.org. If we don’t hear from you by early April, someone will be visiting each household to verify the current information. So if you can spare a minute to let us know that there aren’t any changes necessary, we won’t have to knock on your door in the middle of dinner hour.
If there is a babysitter, pet sitter or lawn mower in your household who would like to be featured on our new Baby Sitter, Pet Sitter, Lawn Mowing Listings page in the printed directory, please also let us know about that, with appropriate name, phone number, and any other details you’d like included.

From 1965 until 1969, the builder/developer controlled all aspects of the community. The articles of incorporation were filed on May 14, 1969, creating the Mar Cheri Community Club. According to an interview with long-time Mar Cheri resident Jackie Freet, the first board of directors was elected in June of 1969 and consisted of the following members:

Vice President: Wally Turner
Treasurer: Don Chelgren
Secretary: unknown
Recreation Chair: Jackie Freet
