Treasurer’s Report. As of 1 June 2025, the Community had $36951.61 in the Operating account (checking) and $34086.31 in the Reserve (savings).
Through May, the Community is $5800 over budget. This is largely due to professional services (lawyer, geologist, and arborist).
For May, there were a total of $3740.82 in expenditures from Reserves to pay for new access and security equipment at the pool and common areas. A corresponding deposit of $3740.92 has been made from the Operating account to Reserves.
As of June 10, 65 members have paid their 2025 dues in full. One household is making installment payments. One household has not paid dues for 2022, 2024 or 2025. Two others have been assessed late fees and will incur interest and admin charges until paid in full.
Gary Mesick made a motion to use the budgeted contribution amount to reserve as an increase to the budget amount for legal fees. Larry Barlow seconded the motion a vote passed unanimously.

No Report.
At Large: Larry Barlow
Larry shared that installation of the new security system at the pool and common area is well underway:
- 4 cameras are installed and operating
- wires are out to both gates
- we are waiting for the two boxes that will house the gate mechanisms to be manufactured by neighbor Clare Bruce.
As soon as the lock mechanisms are installed new key-cards will be activated and distributed to neighbors.
Maintenance/Pool: Ken Schiewetz (acting chairperson)
Ken shared that the pool is open and operational. The pool drain covers were replaced, as required by King County, on June 6th. The community work party took place on June 7th. Thanks to Neal and Ruth Tripp for taking the lead on pool maintenance and oversight, the party was well organized and the tasks necessary to open the pool were completed. Thanks to all those families who helped get the pool ready to open.
The pool has several families who have volunteered to open, close and maintain the pool and locker rooms throughout the season; we could not keep things running without your generous support. Anyone wanting to help out with this service is asked to contact Ruth Tripp at: nealandruth77@gmail.com.
Any time you could share, even as an alternate, would be appreciated.

New Business:
Dear Members,
The pool is open for the season and it is looking better than ever thanks to the help of the many volunteers who stepped up to help.
It has come to the attention of the board that some members need to be reminded that:
The pool is intended for the use of residents of Mar Cheri. Adult children and grandchildren not residing on the property are guests to the pool and the property owner must accompany them while they are at the pool. There is a limit of four guests per day per member family. If you are bringing more than four guests you must schedule a party and follow the requirements to have that party.
Any found in violation of these pool rules will have privileges suspended.
Thanks for your support this Summer.
The Board.
There being no other business, Ken ended the meeting at 8:04 PM. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 7 PM via Zoom.
Respectfully submitted,
Anne Mesick
Secretary
