Ken called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM.
Treasurer: Gary Mesick
As of August 1, the community had $30224.88 in its Operating Fund (Checking) and $26352.17 in its Reserve Fund (Savings). There is one homeowner who has not yet paid 2023 dues and one homeowner who has not paid 2022 dues. Delinquent accounts have been assessed late fees and interest and have been referred to the Community lawyer for further action. The other 67 homeowners have paid assessments in full through the end of the year.
Operations: The financials show the community is running about $2300 under budget.
Reserve: There were no Reserve expenses in July.

Maintenance/Pool: Ken Schiewetz ,acting chairperson
The big projects proposed for the pool, and pool house are complete with the exception of the slow leak that is near one of the weirs. Thank you to Neal Tripp, and the team of volunteers who have worked to maintain and coordinate improvements to the pool and play area.
Architecture: Ken Schiewetz, acting chairperson
Members of the Architecture Committee have walked the neighborhood and letters of noncompliance will be mailed in the next few days.
A reminder to all community members, if you are planning any large project, to include painting and roofing, please notify Ken Schiewetz, so that he can work with the other members of the committee to verify that the changes are in compliance with the community Bylaws.

New Business:
There was a recent complaint, by a community member, about an incessantly barking dog.
Please contact the City of Federal Way about such noise problems, as that is a matter for the city to handle.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 12, 2023 via Zoom.
