2012 Treasurer’s Report – Pete Keller
Assessment letters went out this week. Prompt payment is greatly appreciated. Final due date is May 15.
The judgment we obtained in small claims court for five years of past due assessments from one homeowner needs to be transcribed to district court, after which we can begin collection proceedings, if necessary.

It’s time to start recruiting and hiring lifeguards. Letters to associate members will go out at the end of March.
Architecture – Kay Gordon
Kay led a discussion about preparing a set of guidelines and examples of the kinds of projects that need to be approved by the architecture committee, as outlined in the covenants.
Maintenance — Mark Bunger
A new summer pool cover will be purchased before the season starts. We are also looking into getting a thermostat for the heater, but are not sure whether one can be retrofitted to the existing heater.
General Comments & Requests
Parking on street: Please remember that it is illegal to park in front of mailboxes and remind your visitors about this. Please be considerate of your neighbors in this regard.
Spring is in the air! Please be cognizant of whether your trees are blocking neighbors’ views.
The website discussion groups and forums section was out of commission for awhile, but is now operational. Use it to post your classified ads, contractor recommendations., and general neighborhood news. www.marcheri.org – Members section.

The meeting adjourned at 8:00 pm and the next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 2 at 7pm at Nancy’s home.
