Mar Cheri Community Club Organization, 1965-1969

From 1965 until 1969, the builder/developer controlled all aspects of the community. The articles of incorporation were filed on May 14, 1969, creating the Mar Cheri Community Club. According to an interview with long-time Mar Cheri resident Jackie Freet, the first board of directors was elected in June of 1969 and consisted of the following members:

President: Joe Freet

Vice President: Wally Turner

Treasurer: Don Chelgren

Secretary: unknown

Recreation Chair: Jackie Freet
