Recreation – Nancy Krueger
The Fourth of July picnic was fun! Lots of folks brought salad and desserts. Thanks to many people who helped with set up and Harold Isaacson and Norm Low, who barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs for us. Let’s celebrate again next year.
Swim lessons are kicking right along with lots of kids and families learning to swim from 9 to 11am Monday – Thursday. Two of our lifeguards, Anna Baklund and Alex Dahl, teach the classes with 3-6 students in each. Our associate family list is growing; we have about 20 families at this time.
Mark Bunger fixed our water heater last month and finished several projects around the pool to make things work better, thanks, Mark.
Architecture
The board discussed a tree removal proposal and determined that the project does not need board approval.
Maintenance — Mark Bunger
The board discussed that the summer pool cover needs to be replaced.
Mark repaired the hot water tank with a new thermocoupler, and fixed the handles in the boy’s bathroom. New letters for the entrance on Dash Point will be up soon.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm. The next meeting will be held at 7 pm on Monday, August 6 at the pool. In the event of rain, we will meet at Nancy Krueger’s.
